  1. Solaris 10 x86 Crashes after "ls" with telnet

    Hi all,

    i have a mysterious problem.

hardware : hp proliant ml350g4p with onboard broadcom nic 5705
OS: Solaris 10 x86 full patched

When i log on via telnet and do an "ls" for example in /var/tmp the machine
    crashes with :

    ----------------------------
bcme: [ID 125400 kern.notice] NOTICE: Fragment count exceeded! Falling
    back to double copy.
genunix: [ID 335743 kern.notice] BAD TRAP: type=e (#pf Page fault)
rp=fffffe80000b9250 addr=8a occurred in module "genunix" due to a NULL
    pointer dereference
    ----------------------------

If i do this via ssh all works fine. If i do this on the console or via
"telnet localhost" there is no problem.

Not all directories-"ls" brings the system to crash.

The bcme-device works (newest driver) fine.

    I have no idea...

Any help would be great !!!!

    Sven
