Hi!

I installed open-solaris 11 now a second time (the slices where way to
small - could'nt install gcc)

Now the failafe is missing:

################################################## #########
Installing boot information
- Updating boot environment configuration file
- Installing boot blocks (c0d0)
cannot open/stat device /dev/rdsk/c0d0s2

Error: installboot(1M) failed

Error: Could not install boot blocks

Could not install boot blocks
################################################## ###########

That was the end of install and I pressed a lot of keys until I got a
"#"-Prompt.

Everything seems to be fine and I just would like to install the
failsafe-thing.

Some further information about the system:

# df -h | grep dsk
/dev/dsk/c0d0s0 945M 155M 732M 18% /
/dev/dsk/c0d0s6 5,8G 2,7G 3,0G 48% /usr
/dev/dsk/c0d0s3 1,9G 93M 1,7G 5% /var
/dev/dsk/c0d0s5 5,8G 6,0M 5,7G 1% /opt
/dev/dsk/c0d0s7 21G 149M 21G 1% /export/home
/dev/dsk/c0d0s1 945M 302M 586M 34% /usr/openwin

there is a small DOS-Partition on the same disk and linux on the second hard
disk. The SMC says about c0d0 "the selected disk does not contain a Solaris
Fdisk partition..." I assume that c0d0s2 is the spap space - I mean I just
read that it would be some special backup slice....?

Thanks for any suggestions!
