SOLVED: DGE-528T with RealTek 8169S driver failed to attach
Figured out that my gigabit PCI card, a D-Link DGE-528T, has a RealTek
8169S chipset.
So, there should be built in support for it in Nevada_27. So I run
# ifconfig -a plumb
# ifconfig rge0 192.168.1.1 up
Yes!!! It's up running.
How wonderful isn't Google for finding stuff like this. Here's where I

BTW, I got the PCI card when i bought a 5 port Gbit switch, all for
~$70
That's really cheap beeing in Sweden...
