Thread: Scotty verses standard MIB - a scotty parsing issue??

  1. Scotty verses standard MIB - a scotty parsing issue??

    While loading the standard MIB :

    lagMIB MODULE-IDENTITY
    LAST-UPDATED "200006270000Z"
    ORGANIZATION "IEEE 802.3 Working Group"
    CONTACT-INFO
    " stds-802-3-trunking@majordomo.ieee.org"
    DESCRIPTION
    "The Link Aggregation module for managing IEEE Std
    802.3ad."
    ::= { iso(1) member-body(2) us(840) ieee802dot3(10006)
    snmpmibs(300) 43 }

    Scotty does not properly parse the OIDs. If I change the iso(1)... to
    iso ...
    it works,. Any work around without changing this Standard MIB or this
    MIB itself needs modification ?

    I had already posted this in comp.tcl.lang group. So I am soz if you
    have seen this b4.

    thanks

  2. Re: Scotty verses standard MIB - a scotty parsing issue??

    HI,

    The OID value below is valid. Changing the MIB module
    from "iso(1)" to just "iso" does not change the value,
    and is a fine workaround for the limitation in the
    MIB parser.
