Thread: SNMP trap receiving software

  1. SNMP trap receiving software

Hi, can anyone recommed any SNMP (v2) trap listening software which will act
as a filter and give you the option to forward the traps on (into a file or
a database or a message queue). Any help on this would be much appreciated
as i'm trawling through the web but not having much luck. It seems that most
SNMP listeners will just display the traps and thats it.

    Thanks

    Andy,

Try the free Trap Receiver at www.trapreceiver.com, or
    www.ncomtech.com/download.htm

    I hope this helps.

SNMPTT with Net-SNMP may work for you. http://www.snmptt.org.
