SunFreeware offers Net-SNMP packages for Solaris 8 SPARC on http://www.sunfreeware.com/programli...8.html#netsnmp .

"sun4u" is Ultra*SPARC*. In context of SunFreeware, "SPARC" is used as a term for the generic architecture covering all of sun4u, sun4m and sun4d. As sun4m and sun4d are EOL, it's very likely the package has been compiled on sun4u anyway. Further question wrt. SunFreeware offerings should be directed to them, please.
