The configure message summarizes the problem ("Perl was compiled with LARGEFILE support which will break Net-SNMP") as well as your two choices (different Perl vs. --disable-embedded-perl). If you can tell us what's wrong with this message and/or have a specific suggestion to improve it, please let us know.
