hi,

is there a way to set ifAdminStatus on VLAN interfaces? i can do this
for physical
interfaces using ifAdminStatus itself ... but apparently not for
logical interfaces. is
there some other MIB variable which accomplishes the same function for
logical interfaces?

vishnu> snmpget -c public j4-test-esx IF-MIB::ifName.100
IF-MIB::ifName.100 = STRING: Gi3/45
vishnu> snmpget -c public j4-test-esx IF-MIB::ifName.114
IF-MIB::ifName.114 = STRING: VLAN-2050

vishnu> snmpset -c private j4-test-esx ifAdminStatus.100 i 2

vishnu> snmpset -c private j4-test-esx ifAdminStatus.100 i 1
