Hi All
I've compiled Samba V3.0.20a on a SUN Solaris 9 machine with the
following flags

CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/local/include \
-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/include \
-I/usr/local/ssl/include \
-I/opt/ldap/include"

LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/lib \
-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/lib \
-L/usr/local/ssl/lib -R/usr/local/lib \
-R/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/lib \
-R/usr/local/ssl/lib"

./configure --prefix=/opt/samba \
--with-acl-support \
--with-included-popt \
--localstatedir=/var/lib/samba \
--with-pidir=/var/run \
--with-logfilebase=/var/log/samba \
--with-privatedir=/etc/samba/private \
--with-configdir=/etc/samba \
--with-ldap=yes \
--with-krb5=/usr/local \
--with-ads=yes

So why does it not find the SSL libraries ?
/opt/samba/sbin/smbd --version
ld.so.1: /opt/samba/sbin/smbd: fatal: libssl.so.0.9.7: open failed: No
such file or directory

When
ls /usr/local/ssl/lib
libcrypto.a libcrypto.so.0 libcrypto.so.0.9.7 libssl.so
libssl.so.0.9.6 pkgconfig
libcrypto.so libcrypto.so.0.9.6 libssl.a libssl.so.0
libssl.so.0.9.7

Shows that the files are there !!

Have I missed something ?

Thanks in advance

Leigh
