Having problems getting samba information from my windows machines. I use the
command:
nmblookup -A ip_of_address_machine
but get no feedback, it just returns to the shell.
But I can connect to the machines with telnet on port 139. Also I can get
results from nmblookup -A 127.0.0.1
Anyone know the problem. Could this be the firewall?, or what network card
or modem the ip is on?
Using Redhat 9 firewall default high.
