Hi,
Recently I upgraded my SuSE 8.1 machine to 8.2. Ever since doing this I
have been unable to smbmount my Windows shares. I get the following
error message:
mount.smbfs[12566]: ioctl failed, res=-1
The kernel messages just say-
smb_retry: no connection process
The system set-up utility (YaST) says that I have version 2.2.7a-72 of
the Samba client utilities installed. I suspect there is a version
conflict going on but I'm afraid I don't know enough about it to know
where it is that I should look for such a problem. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
Thanks!
Rob
