Anyone run into the following scenario:

Using SAMBA to mount Solaris UNIX drive to W2K w/SP4 machine.

When you drag and drop a directory from UNIX (which contains sub dir's)
to PC the permission on UNIX side change based on umask before
the files are copied over to the PC intermittenly.

i.e. umask 022 set on UNIX $HOME.profile also UNIX system /etc/profile
unix permission on ALL files prior to any drag-n-drop -r--r--r-- file1
then after drag-n-drop initiated -rwxr-xr-x file1

any ideas?
is this possibly a samba issue?
is this possibly a W2K issue?

thanks.
