  1. k3b permissions problem

    Hi,
    I have been using k3b 1.05 under slackware 12.1. Just recently I
find that I can only use this program as root. I have run k3bsetup
repeatedly but as the disk in the drive is not recognized. When
I changed permission on /dev/sr0 to 666 the program complains that it
cannot find the cd writing software. I have even downloaded the source
code and recompiled it but the problems remains.
    I have a soft link from /dev/cdrom to /dev/sr0 and /dev/sr0 has
root as the owner and burning as the group. I have added to the
burning group, but I am still stuck. Any help would be appreciated.
