I am trying to get a RocketRAID 1740 working on a slackware 12.1
installation. I upgraded the BIOS to v2.0, Installed the server/
daemon driver rpms without any problems, and compiled the driver.

When I modprobe the rr174x driver and start the server/daemon, it will
see the card, which in turn sees the scsi drives. Everything appears
to be working fine until I create an array. It will create the array
successfully, start the initiazation of the array, then some time
later it fails. I searched the web, and couldn't find anything
related. Sent an email to highpoint's support email address, have not
heard anything back yet.

I have run out of ideas. Any suggestions on what I should try next?
