finally lit up @54MBits/sec after _way_too_much_polishing_ ..it seems that
compat-wireless-2.6 was required...wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd still need to
be manually done...haven't sorted that automation out yet...but..small
victory...it's live...and now I believe it's beer o'clock
