Does anyone have a video of The Attic bug in action? I've heard so much
about it, but I'm **** at JSW and have never actually seen what happens...

Andrew Broad has a technical explanation here:

There is nothing much to see. It's just like "infinite death", when you keep
falling into a room, except that it happens when you just *walk* into
certain corrupted rooms. Apparently Software Projects initially claimed it
was an extra difficulty feature involving "poison gas".

There were two responses to this from Software projects:
The first was quoted by Alun Maton (sp) from Software projects, who
said that after entering the Attic, the gaurdians from the Chapel
would leave their posts and take up position around certain rooms (as
we know - The Kitchen, West of Kitchen, Cuckoo's Nest and East Wall
Base) making a direct route back to the master bedroom all the more
tricky.
The second (and more official) explanation came about from full colour
adverts in the computer mags based on the original JSW ad, but with a
big text overlay explaining that after entering the Attic the above
rooms were now filled with poison gas, again making a direct return
difficult - and in fact often impossible.
