This is a discussion on Plus3 Composite - Sinclair ; Is there anyway to get a composite signal from a plus3 and possibly a gray plus2, i know that you can get a signal from the modulator on a 48k but dont know about the other 2 any help welcome. ...

The +3 has no composite output as standard. You could take a composite
feed off the input to the modulator, or possibly directly off the PAL
encoder chip, if you can find it!

Does the modulator in the plus3 still have the composite sent to it?

Hi Graham,
just get the Video-Modulator for +3 at www.sintech-shop.de . This small
piece of hardware converts the signal of the normal modulator in your
Spectrum +3 to a proper Video-signal.

Sorted it now very simple circut.
Parts
3 x 1N418
1 x 2.2k resistor
1 x 25ohm resistor
1 x BC237(337)
Conect the 3 diodes in series put the first one to pin 6 of IC 9(TEA2000)
silver line away from the ic, conect the 2.2k to 41R and the end of the 3
diodes abd the base of the tranmiter(BC237(337)) conect the colector to the
left side of L3 for +12v and the emitter to the 75ohm then to the composite
and thats it cool picture.
There are 2 diagrams on the net here:-
