Yes, it looks like they are dumping support for the IRIX platform. But are you
taking this to mean bypassing SGI alltogether? What about Pro/e on SGI's other
platforms, like Altrix and Linux and ITANIUM 2? And are you assuming that stopping
support means that a) the software will not be ported to this operating system and
b) even if it is, it will not be subject to maintenance. The latter is more
expensive and more likely to be stopped. Information to the contrary!?!
