    >(6.5.6 or later I think, not sure),

    -The version used was 6.5.27.

All upgrade endeavours with the o2 went right: ADAT-interface & new cpu.
Now it's time to get to work...

Tell me what you can do with the ADAT interface and with which program?

(If you remember, I'm trying to get multi-track recording to work on
an Octane, an 8 channel AD/DA box with ADAT connectors, and soundtrack)

-The interface similar to that of the Octane, so you get 8in 8out.
PD & jMax can use these facilities. Once you have your audio inside,
you can do whatever you like...

-What kind of problems are you having with this (if any)?

Attemption to playback and record simultaneously locks up Soundtrack.

Another poster suggested making sure that the AD/DA box was syncing
to the SGI clock, not the SGI to the AD/DA box clock, which I haven't
tried yet. Haven't had time to play with the device.

-Not simultaneously of course, but one or another...

    -Perhaps a buffer problem...

-I'm told that word-clock is a very trick business...
