Hi Folks,

after upgarding our 4-cpu Onyx2 from IRIX 6.5.3 to 6.5.22,
one CPU-Board (cpu 2 and 3) are disabled now.
During boot it complains about old firmware on some CPUs and disables
those (see 'Syslog' and 'hinv' below)

Trying to trace it down, we did a flash -V (see below) which looked fine
to us, both processor boards showed prom version 6.150

However flashing all proms with flash -v (see below) gives errors for
Node 1.

We are aware that there is a Bug (Bug-ID: 901629) related to that, but
this should not affect CPU-operation.

We are also aware, that both CPU-boards hold different type of
Processors (250 and 195 MHz), but this wasn´t a problem during 6.5.3-times


So our questions are:

Whats wrong with our system?
Do we have a faulty PROM on this board?
How can we bring back this board to life?


BTW: since the upgrade, the POD in the PROM-Monitor does not work, only
says something like "rfuse to work in this configuartion"
