    Hello,

    I have encountered a problem with fibre channel partition (IBM Fastt)
    connected to SGI38000. hinv reports:

    > fx -d /dev/rdsk/200200a0b80f97d4/lun30vol/c12p1 works fine
    > mkfs_xfs /dev/rdsk/200200a0b80f97d4/lun30vol/c12p1 ok

    But c12p1 is a character device. So mount reports "Block device required"
    How to mount or create a block device, which can be mounted succesfully?

    Not really.

    It is in /dev/rdsk. Not in /dev/dsk .
