does 6.5.23 work on IP28? - SGI

This is a discussion on does 6.5.23 work on IP28? - SGI ; Hello, SGI recently switched Indigo2Impact HW etc. into "retired" mode. Does this mean IRIX 6.5.23 will not at all work with IP28 (R10k)?  Before I go to try it - perhaps somebody out there has already? TIA Walther...

    Hello,

    SGI recently switched Indigo2Impact HW etc. into "retired" mode.
    Does this mean IRIX 6.5.23 will not at all work with IP28 (R10k)?

    True. 6.5.23 only includes Kernels for IP27,IP30,IP32,IP35
