We've got an Octane that recently appeared to suffer a near-fatal
drive crash. I say appeared because I've put a drive in the machine
that was being used as a second drive, but when I run fx and run a
sequential exercise, I'm getting SCSI Interface Parity Errors.

Am I right in thinking this may be indicative of the scsi chip dying?
And if this is the case, does it reside on the motherboard or the
frontplane?

It is possible that this is just coincidence, but I'm trying to cover
all possible bases.
