Default Tezro build.

I just got a pair of shiny new Tezros in, and being the guy I am, the
first thing I do is repartition the system drive (4GB of swap is a bit
excessive, guys) and do a fresh installation.

So I create a roboinst entry for these machines, add bootptab entries,
etc, etc, and so on and so forth.

Anyway, I can boot fx from the network just fine, and I can boot sash, but
attempting to load the installation tools is a no go.

CD and bootp both yeild the same result:

System Maintenance Menu

1) Start System
2) Install System Software
3) Run Diagnostics
4) Recover System
5) Enter Command Monitor

Option? 2

Installing System Software...

Press to return to the menu.

1) Remote Directory 2)[Local CD-ROM]
*a) Local SCSI CD-ROM drive 0, on controller 2

Enter 1-2 to select source type, a to select the source, to quit,
or to start:

Insert the installation CD-ROM, then press :

Anyone have any ideas for me? I have 6.5.22 on the way already, but I
have people waiting on these machines, and 6.5.21 Installation Tools
appear to be broken, and I don't know how long SGI is going to take to
ship 6.5.22 since I had to deal with a person (Order Software Updates on
support.sgi.com returns Internal Server Error and has for several months
now for me, yay).

Yeah, the Tezro PROM falls back to serial console with no K/V/M attached,
but the the miniroot apparently can't hadle this. Setting the console to
d in the prom made mr happy, and then I promptly forgot to set it back so
when I dragged the first one to the user's office and reconnected
everything, I got a blank screen. Yay.

I see. I'm glad they are back up and running. No SGI should ever be down.
Anyway, thats good info, I'll remember that if we ever rebuild ours. Thanks..
What are they using the tezros for there?
