  1. VisionFS

On a 5.0.5 machine which uses VisionFS for most of its printers, printing
has mysteriously stopped a couple of times yesterday and today. A reboot
    renables printing.

On the last occasion, before resorting to a reboot, I logged in and did:

    cd /etc/rc2.d
    S90visionfs stop
    S90visionfs start

    which errored out thus:

netstat: /dev/inet/tcp: No such device or address
netstat: /dev/inet/tcp: No such device or address
netstat: /dev/inet/tcp: No such device or address
Starting SCO VisionFS 3.1 from /usr/vision/visionfs...

    2007/07/24 12:32:01.480 lockd/init/failed SCO VisionFS Lock Daemon(3.1)

FATAL ERROR: The VisionFS server will not start.
Unable to bind to local tcp port:
socket(1): (6) No such device or address

    /dev/inet/tcp lists as:

    rw-rw-rw- 1 root sys 40, 85 Jul 17 2002 tcp

    What's our problem?

    On my 5.0.5 system /dev/inet/tcp is crw-rw-rw
