Thread: Upgrade license question.

  1. Upgrade license question.

I am looking to upgrade from 5.04 to v6.

I also want to put the new system on some new hardware.

Does the "Upgrade license" allow a fresh install? Or do I need to
    upgrade a running 5.04 system?

It allows for a fresh install, you just the license information of
    the previous version.

Did you mean upgrade to 5.0.6 or 6.0.0? Either way, an upgrade
license allows a fresh install (and I would strongly advise a fresh
install in any event). Upgrading to 5.0.6 would re-use the 5.0.4
license and act. key, but I believe an upgrade to 6.0.0 requires an
    entirely new license.
