Hello everyone,

I have a problem with windows group memberships.
We are running samba as a PDC with ACL's.
The local unix users and groups are set up correctly.
To map windows groups to unix groups I set up this group mapping:
---
Ingenieure (S-1-5-21-1666078787-310823975-216776211-1000) -> ing
Informatiker (S-1-5-21-1666078787-310823975-216776211-1001) -> inf
Domänen Benutzer (S-1-5-21-1666078787-310823975-216776211-513) -> domuser
Domänen Gäste (S-1-5-21-1666078787-310823975-216776211-514) -> domguest
Domänen Administratoren (S-1-5-21-1666078787-310823975-216776211-512) -> domadmin
---

Users are members of their respective Unix group.
The problem is that 'net rpc user info jan' e.g. reports:
---
Domänen Benutzer
Informatiker
root
---
My Unix account 'jan' is a member of 'inf' but not of group 'domuser'
and definitely not a member of group 'root'.
So where do these memberships originate from?

Please forgive my lack of understanding. I searched through the
samba howto but I couldn't find anything enlightened.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
Jan
