Best Modem Router?
My daughter & husband have just got broadband, and are using a single USB
modem which they move between 2 desktops and a laptop as necessary. They
want me to connect all three for them.
I use a Belkin modem/router for a similar purpose, with one wired and two
wireless connections, but the wireless is not as reliable a I would like
(problems with IP address). Also there have been suggestions in various
lists that the Belkin equipment won't last very long.
I'm looking for advice as to the best equipment that I might buy -
modem/router, a USB wireless unit for one PC and a plug in card for the lap
top. Broadly cost is unimportant, I just don't want to keep making a 60 mile
round trip each time something goes wrong!
Would welcome any comments as to what readers consider to be the best

It is all dependent upon the ISP. The modem side must be compatible with the ISP.
