  1. dlink and file sharing

    Hello,
Awhile back I had something weird happen with my network. For some reason
now, when attempting to access shared folders from computer A to computer B
it pops up a logon box with comp/GUEST in a greyed out box and asks for a
password, I don't know of the password and don't beleive there is any setup.
But when I go from B to A I can access the shared folders fine on computer
    A. Comp A has XP Pro, B has XP Home... Any suggestions on how to get rid
of that pop up login box. Thanks.

ALL LAN side computers should be using the SAME account and password. You have a mismatch !
