  1. OpenVpn and Dlink DI-624+ setup

I have a problem which hopefully one of you guys can help me with.

I am trying to set up my network so that I can use openvpn to access our
    Linux box at work.

    My setup is as follows.

WinXPpro ---> Dlink 624+ -----> cable modem ------> Linux box

If I bypass the router everything works ok so I guess that I need to do
something on the router to allow openvpn to work. I have tried everything I
    can but its not working.

The messages I get from openvpn are as follows.

  2. Re: OpenVpn and Dlink DI-624+ setup

I know this isn't going to be much help but... If you have a router
that allows "VPN pass-through" you need to set it to allow, otherwise
you need to open the ports the VPN is using (often even 3 ports (find
out from IT at work)) and point traffic inbound using those ports to
    your computer.
