    Hi Everybody,
    i am new to rehat cluster filesystem.
    i am trying to form a twonode cluster using cman.
    but in both nodes cluststat showing

    my /var/log/messages showing

    Sep 22 11:05:18 grasshopper fenced[13694]: fence "gnatp" failed
    Sep 22 11:05:23 grasshopper fenced[13694]: fencing node "gnatp"
    Sep 22 11:05:23 grasshopper fenced[13694]: fence "gnatp"
    failed ....................so on.



    can anybody help me.

    a two node cluster is a special type of cluster which remains quorate
    even when there is only one node up

    at a first look it seems that your nodes do not communicate and do not
    see each other, that's why are trying to use fencing (which isn't eitehr
    working probably misconfigured) ... it probably depends on the network
    topology, the newer versions of the cluster suite use multicast
