i am running fedora core 1 and i want to integrate an
"eicon diva server" active isdn-card. there is an open-source
driver package available from www.melware.de which is not
part of the standard-kernel.

1. compilation of that package with a standard-kernel
from kernel.org works fine.
2. compilation of that package with the fedora-kernel-source-package
fails (several symbols not defined etc)
3. after compiling the package with a standard-kernel i tried to
load the resulting modules into the fedora-kernel. that operation
fails with a lot of unresolved symbols

the fedora-kernel seems to be modified. what i really want is
to prepare a rpm of precompiled modules for the eicon card that
can be installed on a standard fedora installation.

any ideas?
