wlan on RH9

I'm having trouble getting the RedHat kernel-2.4.20-31.9 to work with
the wlan modules. I went to [url]http://prism2.unixguru.raleigh.nc.us/[/url] and
downloaded the following file:
kernel-wlan-ng-modules-rh9.31-0.2.1-pre14.i686.rpm.

I ran: rpm -Uvh kernel-wlan-ng-modules-rh9.31-0.2.1-pre14.i686.rpm
It installed correctly.

When I try to boot to the new kernel, modprobe fails to locate the
p80211 module during the boot process. Wireless connectivity is still
good under the 2.4.20-30.9 kernel. What am I missing here?
