Hi all,

I'm using Samba 2.2.7a with CUPS printer driver in RH9. My linux printer can
be shared & print (remotely) successfully.
However, I'm unable to cancel print jobs, or pause them remotely (on a
Win2000/XP PC).

Is there something missed in the smb.conf, or extra-settings needed for CUPS
(Permissions???). Actually, I'm very new to CUPS so please specify in detail
if I have to config it.

Here's the SMB settings for the shared printer:
############################################
[global]
printcap name = /etc/printcap
load printers = yes
printing = cups

[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
guest ok = yes
writable = no
printable = yes
public = yes
browseable = yes

lpq command = lpstat -o %p
lprm command = cancel %p-%j
print command = lpr -P %p -o raw %s -r
use client driver = yes
############################################

Thank you v.much!!
