RedHat 9, dhclient-3.0pl1-23, and /etc/dhclient.conf - Redhat

This is a discussion on RedHat 9, dhclient-3.0pl1-23, and /etc/dhclient.conf - Redhat ; I'm running dhclient-3.0pl1-23 on RedHat 9. I just discovered today that RedHat's dhclient doesn't seem to be reading my /etc/dhclient.conf file as did that from dhcp-3.0b1pl11 compiled manually. What am I missing? Thanks....

A quick review of /sbin/ifup and I see the problem... RedHat's script is
looking for /etc/dhclient-eth0.conf instead on /etc/dhclient.conf.
