Hi there,

Running Redhat 9, kernel version 2.4.20-31.9 (nothing funky done to
it). I've got a USB webcam hooked up to it (ZoomCam USB with CPIA
chipset).

The cam works for about 10mins, i.e. I can grab frames etc, but after
about ten minutes it stops working.

alias char-major-81 videodev

I'm sure that the drivers etc are loading cos I can grab pics etc. I
think that my problem may be to do with the "alias char-major-81-0
cpia_usb, alias char-major-81 videodev" lines in the modules.conf. TBH
I've been plugging away at this for the last two or three weeks and have hit
a wall

Any ideas?
