wait a few days and one should be available at
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/fedora1.html
FlatCap's releases are usually a few days behind the kernel releases

Yup. You have to use ntfs RPMs that are for identical kernel releases.
1.2179 != 1.2188
FWIW, I tried to build a 1.2188 ntfs RPM using the FlatCap's scripts and
instructions (http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/build.html) but got
an unresolved external error (IIRC) when I tried to install the
resulting RPM. I sent him the terminal output from the build and
installation attempt, along with a bz2'd copy of the build log.
