    This has been asked and answered many many times...... remember google is
    your friend, for example;

    http://www.google.com/linux?hl=en&lr...=Google+Search

    Boot with the FC3 installation media, at the menu screen type in 'linux
    rescue' without the quotes. Answer a few questions and read the on screen
    messages. Do the 'chroot' command and when ready type something like;

    /sbin/grub-install --recheck /dev/hda [or /dev/hda1]

    Hints; the counting starts at zero (0) and the titles are used for the
    counting.

    If you still have a problem post your /boot/grub/grub.conf file and any
    other relevant information.
