Can someone correct my impression of ALSA?
I reread my ALSA notes and docs and it leaves me thinking the procedure
to change from mic to line-in is:
1) save alsaconf and modules.conf
2) run alsamixer
3) run alsactl store
each time when I change from mic to line-in.
Don't recall having to do this but didn't keep switching from mic to
line-in either.
