hi !

i am setting the default blocksize of my tape device with a command such as
"mt -f /dev/st2 defblksize 0" to variable blocksize.
this is set in the tape device. is it also remembered in the st driver?
what happens if i turn the tape device off and on again? is the command
sent to the device again or do i have to send the command again after turning
on the device?
