one way you could make a cluster is with openmosix, i dont know about
using it with mandrake, but it is fairly easy, however this wouldn't
spread load of single processes, you would have to be running a few
things that take a large amount of load for it to be useful.

im sorry that i don't have links to other types of clusters

Absolutely! I run a slightly faster cluster of sorts in my "compile farm" I
run gentoo and clusert with distcc and ccache. I'm able to spread a compile
session over some 8 or 9 boxes... much, much faster.

    Have fun.

Well Mandrake won't go on a 486, the minimum is a Pentium.

For the absolutly easiest way try ClusterKnoppix. This is a live CD
that runs and autosets itself up and joins a cluster straight from the
CD. Best of all it's FREE!
