  1. FTP server for Kermit source code and binaries isn't at home

    Hello!
Despite the fact that today is a holiday in this country, and one in
the UK as well (Bank Holidy there), I decided to visit the Kermit site
to track down and restore the copies I need for one of my Linux
    systems.

The website came up okay. However the ftp site seems to be on holiday
today. Is something wrong with it?

It appears to be a DNS issue. Try ftp://www.columbia.edu/kermit/

It was fixed as soon as it was noticed:

    ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/

Some hosts and servers were being shuffled. Sorry for the inconvenience.
