Automatic application updates
We are now in the third version of our application, so the boss wants
us to look at getting automatic updates to work. I was recommended to
use AutoUpdate+, at www.autoupdateplus.com, from a friend of mine.
Before jumping the gun, does anyone know much about this app and if
it's suitable for us?

Re: AutoUpdate+
We can definitely recommend AutoUpdate+ because we were struggling to
find a way to get updates to non-admin clients on WinXP. Originally we
wrote our own update software, but turns out that not all our
customers could use it due to a lack of user permissions on WinXP. The
reason we ended up with AutoUpdate+ is cause they allow you to run is
as a System service, which avoids the permissions issue we had. They
also gave us quite a hand to get things integrated with our app -
hence the reason I bother to recommend them.
