I have a windows 2000 service that reads/writes to a UNC path on a NAS filer
and authenticates every minute on schedule. However the log is notating
every attempt and filling up the log. Is there a way on the windows side
(without suppressing logging or schedules) to cache or reduce the number of
attempts that occur for every time the DART service connects and attempts an
IO? I need to reduce the log to a manageable size? The I/O in the service
is done using MS Scripting Runtime library.
