    Oops...sorry. That's the for ASCII vs binary, not for active versus
    passive. As was mentioned, the client dictates the choice of active data
    transfers (using the PORT command) or passive data transfers (using the
    PASV) command; there is no "default" for this in proftpd, as it MUST be
    dictated by the client.
