The configure script only uses the -Wno-long-double option (which is the
cause of your problem) when it detects that the compiler supports it.
Thus I find the fact that the configure script determines that
-Wno-long-double is acceptable to your compiler, but your compiler rejects
that option, quite confusing. Could you provide your config.log file,
please?

Also, did you do a:

make clean

before running the configure command?
