I have discovered that if I add the following entry to the ".ftpaccess" file
in the directory, then I am able to see the files with "ls":

HideFiles (\.ftpaccess)$

I am not sure why this works even after reading the man pages.

What are the permissions on the RetailWeb/WSJTopTen/ subdirectory?
