Hi TJ and others,

Here is the situation:

- version ugraded to 1.3.1rc3
- TimeOutLinger directive used, and configured to 3 seconds

The ABOR command is now well managed on this version. Nevertheless the QUIT=
one is no more ...
We have now some other equipments (CISCO 7600) that open several connection=
s and terminate them with a QUIT. And the connection seems then freezed ! W=
e've tried to wait (a long time, several minutes) but nothing happen then ;=
our ssh session is even locked and we have to restart it to continue the t=
ests ...

Is there something known about that (maybe a bug case opened) ?
Any idea about what I could do ?

Thanks a lot for your help !

Ced

I should also point out ProFTPD's TimeoutLinger configuration directive:

http://www.proftpd.org/docs/directiv...eoutLinger.ht=
ml

Since an ABOR will cause the closing of the data connection, the delay you =
are seeing might be influenced by the default TimeoutLinger setting; config=
uring a lower timeout might decrease the delay you experience.

Cheers,
TJ
