Sigh. It seems that few people bother to read the documentation for those
modules, which states that if there are questions or issues with them,
they should be sent to me *directly*.

I ask this because those modules are not part of the ProFTPD Project, they
aren't distributed. I write them in my spare time, and update them when I
can, just like any other proftpd developer might do. Asking about my
personal modules on the proftpd mailing list can be confusing.
