  1. Problem with connecting Windows 2000 with VxWorks version 5.4.2

    Hi All,

    I'm connecting a Windows 2000 system towards a VxWorks version 5.4.2 (kernel
    is KERNEL: WIND version 2.5).

This succeeds in most cases, but sometimes it fails for some unclear reason.
Does anyone have a clue why it fails?

    Regards,

There's nothing different at the PPP level here -- both are
negotiating the same options. One thing to check would be that the
control lines are the same; if DCD on the Win2k side is dropping, I
suppose that could cause some sort of error (though I don't see why
    it'd be that one).

This does sound like a bug on the peer's side.
